Bohlokwa Private Nature Reserve
About
Bohlokwa is a beautiful private nature reserve 2 hours outside of Johannesburg and 1 hour from Pretoria. The park is located next to the Wilge River on 3000 hectares of unspoilt grassland. Its spectacular wetlands are home to more than 286 species of birds and 20 species of fish. Bohlokwa is considered one of the best places to see a variety of wildlife, including Kudu, Impala, Burchell's Zebra, Black Wildebeest, Springbok, Warthogs, and Eland. Furthermore, we are fortunate to have many nocturnal and crepuscular animals such as Cape Foxes, Porcupines, Brown Hyenas, Servals, Caracals, Honey Badgers, and Black-backed Jackals.
